PARIS-MODENA FRIENDS REUNION 2022

Dearest Friend,

Spring is around the corner and that’s the time of the year when nature awakens and the earth seems to come to life again. Spring is, in fact, the season of new beginnings. This is why, together with Enrico and Francesco, we thought it would be the perfect occasion to meet up, spend some quality time together as friends and toast to the future. A future that holds also exciting news for our dear Paris-Modena.

So, what’s better than cycling, tasting good food and wine, and relaxing surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside?

SAVE THE DATE! BOLGHERI, 1-3 april 2022

Thanks to Enrico and his excellent support, as usual, I have the pleasure to invite you and your partner to join Elena and myself for a weekend on the Tuscan coast, in Bolgheri area. The idea is to meet-up on Friday 1 April in the afternoon and spend the weekend at leisure together. No April’s fool, I promise!

For those interested in cycling there will be rides on Saturday and Sunday. Those who wish to take it easier will have the opportunity to enjoy the attractions of the area and the perks at Tombolo Talasso Resort in Marina di Castagneto Carducci, which will be our hotel for the weekend.

The participation is on a self-pay basis, but we will be happy to help with reservations and logistics information.

Bring your own bike, your beautiful partners and your happy souls!

VIA FRANCIGENA, 29 march – 1 april 2022

For those that can afford a little time off work, and this time luckily I am one of those, why not reaching the Tuscan Coast riding along the legendary Via Francigena?

Let’s meet up in Rome on Tuesday 29 March in the afternoon. Then, from Wednesday 30 March, 3 stages for about 300+ km in total leaving from Vatican City to reach Marina di Castagneto on Friday afternoon, just in time to join our friends for the weekend!

The participation is on a self-pay basis, but we will be happy to help with reservations and logistics information. We will have a supporting vehicle to carry luggage and provide assistance in case of need.

Given the terrain of Via Francigena, a gravel bike (or alternatively a mountain bike) is strongly recommended.

Please let me now if you are up for this as much as I am. Meanwhile, I will be counting down the days until we see each other again!
